Primary Purpose of Job
Develop, implement and monitor statistical and behavioral based analytical tools and systems to evaluate collection strategies for the US. Develop, recommend and monitor collections strategies. Support credit risk policy, procedures, and processes for portfolio management. Position may require ICS compliance activities as applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor Risk Based Collection strategies and scoring models that support the U.S. Car and Truck collection and recovery process. 50%
- Provide transparency on segment specific portfolio performance as well as portfolio quality. 20%
- Support global DFS Risk Management projects in order to ensure that DFS utilizes best of class practices as it pertains to risk processes and quantification tools. 15%
- Support credit risk policy, procedures, and processes for portfolio management. 15%
Decision Making
- Participate in projects and provide information as required - Weekly
- Best practice sharing as it pertains to scorecard development, collection strategies and overall process improvement. Participate in cross divisional projects and provide reporting as required. - Daily
- Communicate strategic direction of credit life cycle related initiatives to all levels of management. - Daily

Education Required Bachelor’s Degree in :

Knowledge (necessary to perform proficiently in this position)
- Must have 5-8 years (total) of experience in the following:
- Business - General 3-5 Finance 3-5 Risk Management 3-5 years
Additional Knowledge:
- 5-8 years of experience in Finance, controlling or relevant analytical positions.

Additional Skills:
- Technical finance or analytical/statistical background awareness of risk management concepts, credit or collection policies is required.
- Experience in database design using Access is required, expert knowledge of S.A.S. (Statistical Analysis Software) is preferred.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in interacting with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
