IP Associate - Intellectual Property - Transactional

We are a premier legal advisor to technology and growth enterprises worldwide, as well as the investment banks and venture capital firms that finance them. We work with start-up companies, as well multi-billion dollar global enterprises. We are experiencing growth right now, and looking for the right individuals to join our firm.
What you need for this position:
- Excellent academic credentials; top-tier law school and law review preferred
- 3+ years of related experience at a national law firm
- A biology, chemistry and/or business background is preferred
- Experience working at a national law firm
- Experience in IP-related transactions, ranging from acquisitions and divestitures, to joint ventures, to securities offerings
- Licensing experience in the biotechnology industry is preferred, but significant transactional and/or intellectual property experience will be considered
- CA Bar admission preferred, BUT NOT REQUIRED
What you will be doing:
- Focus on transactions in the biotechnology industry primarily, as well as in the clean tech and medical device industries
- Draft documents and negotiate, conduct due diligence, and advise on portfolio analysis, risk analysis, litigation risk analysis, IP ownership and transfers, privacy and other issues
- Work on all IP-related aspects of transactions, ranging from acquisitions and divestitures, to joint ventures, to securities offerings
