As a member of the company’s Corporate Finance team, the FP&A Manager will be responsible for a variety of reporting and analytical functions. The associate will be in charge of the annual budget process and the monthly reporting package showing the updated financial forecasts as well as how actual performance compares against budget and forecasts. The FP&A Manager will lead the analyst team to develop reports and financial models for existing assets that analyze business performance, support long-range planning, and model future performance and business valuations. In addition, this role will associate will support other finance and accounting functions and groups as the needs of the business may require.
Duties
- Manage annual asset and departmental budget process as well as monthly forecasts
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting package
- Prepare variance analysis reports for senior management and board of directors
- Manage the asset level and regional forecast models, including performance, returns, valuations, trends, and assumptions
- Prepare lender reporting packages, including covenant calculations
- Work with the Treasury group to manage cash forecasting reports
- Manage the analyst team, including performance reviews and career development planning
- Lead the financial planning process and work closely with the functional leaders to set baseline expectations, variance analysis presentations & reviews
- Development of financial models to assist executives in making informed business decisions
- Preparation of comparable company analyses
- Develop a strong understanding of the industry and how business operations affect the financial performance of the Company
- Analysis of the financial implications of operational processes, service offerings, new markets and other business initiatives
- Evaluate the impact of proposed acquisitions in terms of cost savings and performance synergies
- Support other financial, accounting and operations needs as may arise

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to analyze companies from a financial, operational, and industry perspective
- Understanding of financial modeling and valuation methodologies
- Strong finance and accounting background
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excels in a team-oriented work environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Exhibits a strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Understanding of Hyperion products (Essbase and Strategic Finance) is a plus
Education/Experience:
- 4-year degree with a major in finance and/or accounting
- 6 – 10 Years of prior relevant work experience
- Minimum 3.5 GPA in major and overall
